On August 18, we took stitching out to the ballpark for our first-ever Stitch & Pitch with the Texas Rangers! 120 stitchers joined us at Globe Life Field to work on their projects, enjoy a hot dog, make new friends, and cheer on the Rangers as they took on the Washington Nationals.
We even brought along custom hot dog canvases for the occasion, because obviously a ballpark stitch night needed a ballpark canvas. (PS: we will be releasing these canvases in 18 mesh, 13 mesh, and needle minders - available soon!) And to top it all off, the Rangers brought home the win!
We had so much fun seeing our stitching community take over the ballpark, and this definitely won’t be our last sports-themed stitch night. We’re already dreaming up what’s next, so make sure you’re following Mimi’s on social to be the first to hear about future events!
